Compassion Circle’s time-tested supplements fill in the nutritional gaps common in home-prepared meals. Our “Vegepet” supplement line includes Vegedog™ for adult dogs, Vegepup™ for growing puppies, and Vegecat™ for adult cats. These supplements are vitamin, mineral, and amino acid powders that are mixed directly into food to ensure your home-prepared recipes are nutritionally complete. Vegedog™, Vegepup™, and Vegecat™ can be used in any home-prepared meal, but should not be added to nutritionally-complete, commercial food. Our modified brewer’s yeast, VegeYeast, and fabulous green superfood, Green Mush™, can be added to any diet – home-prepared or commercial.

Preparing meals for your four-legged loved ones is not as high maintenance as it seems. Once you make a recipe once or twice, you’ll find your groove and confidence. Please, don’t hesitate to contact us with questions along the way.

Our supplements ship with simple recipes that are easy to follow. You’ll also find recipes and information about vegan and home-prepared diets in the 4th edition of Dr. Pitcairn’s Complete Guide to Natural Health for Dogs & Cats. Compassion Circle is proud to have our supplements used by the Pitcairns in the book recipes.

A home-prepared, vegan diet avoids the unknowns of the pet food industry and gives you the opportunity to eliminate ingredients that contain heavy metals, preservatives, herbicides, pesticides, GMOs, and allergens. It further offers the flexibility to tailor a diet for specific health conditions or individual taste. An increasing number of veterinarians support home-prepared diets, and vegan food, as a holistic approach to health. Plant-based diets have been reported to reduce allergy associated conditions, promote healthier body weights, improve the skin and coat, increase overall youthfulness and energy, and quite possibly lead to fewer incidences of degenerative conditions like cancer, kidney and liver disease, and arthritis.

Please check out our recipes and the other information on our site, especially the Frequently Asked Questions page; then contact us if you have questions. We are happy to share our experience and knowledge with you so you can have the peace of mind and confidence to transition your loved one(s) to a better diet, or maintain the home-prepared diet you’ve already chosen.
