Ingredients

  • 1-2/3 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup dry Textured Vegetable Protein (TVP) or TSP Reconstitute with just over 1 cup boiling water or follow package directions to prepare. Makes about 1-1/3 cups prepared.
  • 2 tbsp VegeYeast (18g)
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce (14g) or full 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1-1/4 tbsp olive oil or sunflower oil
  • 1/4 tsp flaxseed or algae oil
  • 3 to 3-2/3 tsp Vegepup (14g)

Notes

If your TVP or TSP flakes are large, they may need to be simmered. Otherwise, pour boiling water or low sodium broth over dry TVP/TSP and stir well to combine. See product directions.
Use enough water for your rice to fully absorb all the water possible during the cooking process. Soft rice is best.
