“Floyd” is thought to be 1-1/2 years old. He is male, being neutered today, and his shots are current. This sweet guy loves giving kisses and affection, and is quite content being scratched on the neck. He is a good passenger in the car and understands being asked to clam down when he gets excited by other animals – and he does. “Floyd” is not fond of being in a crate. He might be house trained, but he is now spending time in a garage and outside, so it is unclear if he is.

This sweet guy apparently broke a chain he was chained up on (yes, he is a strong one!) and was found nearly running on the 805 freeway in San Diego County. He was recently rescued from the animal shelter by a compassionate woman who cannot keep him but couldn’t bear to have this loving dog killed; it was only going to be a matter of hours because no one had claimed him!

We would love to find a home for “Floyd” as soon as possible. For the time being, he is going to be recovering from neuter surgery in the garage, and we would really prefer him recovering on your couch…or floor, your call. Were it not for my 17-month-old son, and the unknowns regarding that, I would temporarily take him myself…just look at him!

Please contact us if you have any ideas about finding “Floyd” a loving home, or would like to foster or adopt him yourself. The lovely woman who has “Floyd” now will transport him or help with any re-homing fees that may be necessary. If you are interested in adopting “Floyd” and are not in the San Diego area, send me an email anyway and we’ll see what we can do…

Thank you & PLEASE hold space for “Floyd” to find the perfect home!

With Blessings,
Ashley
