We are so very grateful to the New Life Animal Sanctuary and Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary for recently taking in 31 Gottingens mini-pigs who were released from a lab in the San Francisco Bay Area. These little piggies lived their entire lives in sterile cages, enduring experimentation, and never saw the light of day. Now they are free!!!
The New Life Animal Sanctuary is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of animals retired from experimentation, but they are not quite equipped to handle such a large influx of farm animals.
