Vegan Kittens
We deeply regret that we’ve had to discontinue the Vegekit™ supplement for kittens and lactating mamas due to regulatory issues surrounding a necessary ingredient.
The Evolution brand sells ready-made, vegan food for growing kittens. The products they market for kittens say “for all life stages” on the packaging.
Please do not use the Vegecat™ supplement for kittens under 10- to 12-months old. In addition to a kitten’s arachidonic acid requirement, they require higher nutrient levels than adult cats. Some of these higher requirements include: protein, amino acids, calcium, phosphorous, magnesium, copper, iodine, and vitamin A. Please choose a ready-made food that will accommodate these needs.
